International Students Policy

The following procedures apply to international students desiring to study at Victory Bible College:

Submit an Application Form to the Registrar’s Office, following the application procedure listed.
If you are accepted, we will issue a letter of acceptance. You must take this letter with you when you apply for a Study Permit and/or Visa. You must obtain your study permit prior to departing for Canada. Application should be made at the nearest Canadian Government Office in the country where you live. When you apply for a study permit, you will be required to present evidence of adequate funds to live and study in Canada, including return transportation. Most countries also require a certificate of medical clearance. Obtaining a permit can take considerable time, so we suggest you prepare in advance. In many countries, the process takes at least 3 months. NO FOREIGN STUDENTS WILL BE ENROLLED INTO VBCI WITHOUT A STUDENT VISA/STUDY PERMIT, HEALTH COVERAGE & PROOF OF RETURN AIR TICKET.

Upon arriving in Canada, Immigration Officers at the port of entry will ask to see your Student Authorization and Visa, plus the documents you needed to obtain them. If you do not have all the necessary documentation you will be refused entry into Canada.
